About this guide: LoopMint sells viewing plans and provides activation and setup support for compatible devices. The portal instructions here follow Infomir’s documentation for Linux MAG boxes; confirm the route for your exact model before starting.
MAG and MAC: what do you need?
MAG is the device family made by Infomir. A MAC address is a network identifier. When support asks for your MAC, they mean the address from your device, not the name of the box.
Start by sending LoopMint Sales & Setup the full MAG model and the country where you’ll watch. Infomir’s device documentation covers Linux and Android boxes, so the word “MAG” alone doesn’t tell us which installation steps fit. This guide covers a compatible Linux box using an external portal; an Android model may need an app route instead.
For a setup that uses MAC registration, the team will confirm which address to provide and the viewing account it belongs to. Copy it carefully from your own box. Infomir’s network information guide distinguishes Ethernet and wireless interface addresses, so ask which identifier is needed if you see more than one.
How does MAG activation work?
Get the supported setup route confirmed, then request your trial or choose a viewing plan. Sales & Setup can help confirm the device details and supply the portal information for your account. If MAC registration is used, wait for confirmation that your address has been registered before trying to load the service.
Some systems also use the device serial number, as described in Ministra Pro’s auto-login documentation. Follow the details requested for your own account; the exact method depends on the provider’s platform.
The box and the viewing account are separate. Infomir supplies the hardware; the viewing provider supplies access. A portal address by itself doesn’t establish which plan, channels or features you have. Ask about the viewing you want and the start and expiry dates.
Enter the portal on a supported Linux MAG
Keep the setup message beside you. On models with the embedded portal menu described in Infomir’s external portal guide:
- Connect the box to the internet and open its embedded portal settings.
- Go to System settings → Servers → Portals.
- Enter a name for the supplied portal and copy its full address into the URL field.
- Save the details, then use System settings → Restart Portal to load it.
- If the portal asks for a login, enter the private details supplied for your account.
Menus depend on the model, software and operator configuration. If yours differs, send support the model and a description of the screen rather than guessing. Keep your previous settings until you know which portal should change.
Try it with your normal remote and screen
Once the portal opens, try the viewing you actually care about. Check picture, sound, remote navigation and any guide or subtitle feature offered. Test on your usual connection during your normal viewing time. The 24-hour trial checklist helps you keep useful notes.
If the portal will not load
For a page-loading error, compare the full URL with your setup message and check the network connection. Infomir’s MAG3xx troubleshooting guide lists these checks for that model range. If you get an access or activation error, ask support to check your account status and the registered device details. Keep the exact error and the time it happened.
For initial activation or installation, contact Sales & Setup. For service interruptions after activation, contact Technical Support. Send the model and the stage that failed; keep passwords and private portal links out of public screenshots.
Check the viewing term before paying
Your MAG viewing access follows the plan you choose. A separate player’s lifetime licence doesn’t make viewing access lifetime. If your setup needs an additional player app, ask whether any activation is included and confirm its compatibility first.
See LoopMint’s current plans and the plan terms. Tell us how many screens need to watch at once so the quote matches your household.
Need a hand with MAG activation?
“I’ll watch in [country] on a MAG [model]. Please confirm whether it uses a portal or app, which MAC address you need, and how to start a 24-hour trial.” Send this to Sales & Setup, then follow the TV-box setup route.
