ON-DEMAND VIEWING

How to watch films and series online

A large catalogue number tells you little about the films and series you want to watch. Search for specific titles on your own device before committing to a plan.

Disclosure: LoopMint publishes this guide and sells viewing plans. Confirm any service, content and app claims for your location and device before payment.

Search for titles, not just a catalogue count

Make a short list of films or series you care about. Check whether each title is available in your country, whether it is included in the base plan, and whether it is a rental or an extra purchase. For series, check that the seasons and episodes you want are actually present.

Listings can change with distribution rights. A promotional image or the presence of a studio logo does not confirm that a title is currently included. Ask the service to clarify any important title before paying.

Check the experience on your screen

Try the app on the TV, phone or computer you will use most. Test search, episode navigation, resume playback, sound, subtitles and language options. If family viewing matters, check favourites, parental controls and profiles; these features vary by player and service.

Picture quality depends on the source, device, display and connection. A 4K screen does not make every film a 4K stream. Use the 24-hour trial checklist to test the service at your normal viewing time.

Separate the player from the content

A player app can organise categories and play streams, but its activation alone does not grant access to films or series. Ask whether the viewing service needs a separate app and whether the app licence is included with your chosen plan. Our player versus service guide explains the distinction.

LoopMint offers live and on-demand viewing options. What you can access depends on your country, device, app and plan. Confirm specific titles and the applicable viewing rights with Sales & Setup.

Compare the full commitment

Check the upfront price, term, permitted simultaneous screens, renewal method and support. If you mainly watch one particular library, a dedicated licensed service may fit better than a broad package. If you want a mix of live TV, films and series, test the categories you care about instead of choosing by a single headline number.

See LoopMint's current plans and the plan terms before making a decision.
